• Engine

Liquid-cooled, 645cc, V-twin engine delivers a strong rush of high-rpm power that benefits any riding mission, The engine’s 90-degree crankshaft and ignition timing provide perfect primary balance for superb traction at all speeds while delivering a pleasant, rumbling exhaust note.

• Transmission

The six-speed transmission suits sporty rides with tight first through fifth gear ratios and a tall top gear (sixth gear) for highway cruising.

• Chassis

Adventure features include a handlebar cross-brace that is an excellent foundation to mount accessories like a GPS, plus mirror extensions so a rider sees less of themself, and more of what is behind the motorcycle.

• Electrical

LCD readouts include an odometer, dual tripmeter, traction control modes, gear position, coolant and ambient air temperature, fuel consumption, fuel gauge, and a clock. Switching between readings can be done with the left handlebar switch.

• Body & Styling

The beak-style fairing, with vertically stacked headlights and a stronger internal structure, helps the V-Strom 650XT Adventure cut through the wind, protecting the rider in style.
